Went for my first oil change. Got home and the next morning there is a big oil slick on my driveway. Had to go back to the dealer. They claim the oil drain plug gasket was broke. Now I have a big stain on my driveway.

Our experience at Subaru of San Bernardino was the smoothest and most positive dealer experience we have ever experience . Our salesman, and credit manager were top of the line. We live in Rancho Cucamonga about 25 miles away. Their willingness to freely and openly work with us AND offer to deliver car to our house sealed the deal.

I bought a 2017 Subaru Impreza 2.0i last Sunday 11/24/2004. At the end of the test drive, when we were almost back to the dealership, we were on rougher streets and I heard a noise coming from under the hood. The salesman and I both acknowledged the noise, but the salesman assured me the car had been fully inspected and there was nothing wrong with it. Subaru is a great car. My first Subaru was the Crosstrek Limmited and now the 2025 Forester. I like them both, however, the Forester is more me. My experience with the sale people have always been good: Professionalism, respect, patience, and no pressure. From the sales person to the finance department, everyone was exceptional.
Subaru of San Bernardino was the best dealership I have ever dealt with for car repairs. Their customer service is well above the norms that I had come to expect from a car dealership. They went above and beyond any expectations I had when taking my car in for warranty repairs.
The dealer will sneak in "optional" things such as alarms and dent insurances you don't need or want. Make sure you catch it ahead of signing. Read everything even if it takes a lot longer. Its thousands you can save yourself.
I’ve bought several new cars over the years, and this was the worst experience I’ve had so far. The process took several hours, and the salespeople misrepresented several things about the add ons. I ended up getting a partial refund after saying I was going to open up a complaint with Subaru headquarters but other items were never followed up on. Genuinely ruined my life. Bait-and-switched with the promise of a lower APR and then when we went in quoted us a higher APR than they were originally even offering (despite excellent credit). All just to see if we were stupid enough to take it. Suddenly interest rate isn't up for negotiation, nor are dealer add-ons (even though legally they cannot do this). The service department has been very good, from the advisors to the technicians. When my car was damaged by rats twice within two months they were great about keeping me updated on the progress of extensive repairs needed and recommended possible solutions to the rat problem.

My experience is with service only. THEY WERE VERY ATTENTIVE TO MY NEEDS AS WELL AS MY CAR. Jim Herbin a thorough advisor and went over needed repairs before work and after work was finished. He arranged for free transportation to a restaurant and back for my wife and myself. He also gave us a great tour of the dashboard also the controls and shifting mechanics answering many questions.

They botched a transmission job covered under warranty that has my car in the shop for over 10 days now. This is a bad shop with terrible mechanics. Please choose wisely if you come back to this site they will botch the work and not take responsibility for their mistakes.
I worked with José Gutierrez. I had gone to another dealer much closer to my home in Burbank, but that salesman was playing games, so I reached out to José and he gave me his best offer right off the bat. All through the process I felt like I could trust him. He even personally delivered my car to my home, which is around 70 miles from his dealership. I had to special order my car (a Forester Touring) and he kept me apprised every step of the way until handing me the keys. I highly recommend José!

Experience setting up the test drive was great. The test drive was ok Salesman pulling the Dealer Installed Add ons sticker out of their pocket after the drive was over, super not ok! They play games here, they charge way over MSRP. Don’t waste your time. The owner should be embarrassed at how shady his employees are. They also won’t take no for an answer and call you multiple times even when you’ve made it clear you will not be back.
“Had a leaking oil pan”, they kept it for 3 days, picked it up, took it home the next morning a ton of oil on my drive way. Called it in. The manager said I would be taken care of. After another three day it’s finally done. I pick it up and the interior of the car is super dusty and dirty. Thanks a lot. This might be my last Subaru

Service was excellent and the individuals that helped me were awesome. Only complaint was that when they did the monthly breakdown it was sharpie on paper instead of an itemized printout of what I’m paying for. I had separate breakdowns at her other dealerships I went to and it was much more helpful that your dealerships. With that said, I think it’s easily amenable and when I commented on it you guys were not defensive and accommodated me.

This dealership is nice and well kept. However, I would say there are a couple of issues that could have been avoided during my purchase process. A lot of silly mistakes were made and I was notified about amenities in my future car that were going to be in the car, and when I got the car they weren’t in the car. The sales staff lie to you in order ti sell a car. They don't take responsibility. I informed Anthony in sales my commute is 100 miles road trip and the EV crosstreck is terrible for that. Our car was ready earlier than promised. Also, unlike the other Subaru dealership we had been dealing with, they called us when the car was ready. We did not have to call them.
I don’t like coming back 5 times in less than a month to the dealership to fix issues with a vehicle that I newly purchased. Your sales and after sales staff are nice but the quality of service that I got was not pleasant.
