History

Starting in 2001, the USA Subaru Rally team has made a serious impression among its contemporaries, bolstering the brand with more than 100 wins in rally and rallycross competitions. If that wasn’t already enough to put Subaru on the map, the fact that they took home first place in 17 out of 23 championships definitely demonstrates their prowess. Plus, they dominated the scene with nine straight championships for nine consecutive years from 2011 to 2019. As you can see, even though Subaru has only been competing for a little over two decades, they’ve become a household name.

Subaru Motorsports would be nothing without their athletes, and there are some seriously recognizable names on their roster. Piloted by a Formula and NASCAR veteran, Scott Speed has sent shockwaves in the rallycross community with his Project Midnight sports car. The Family Huckster is another noteworthy model with Travis Pastrana at its helm. With a SUBARU BOXER 4-cylinder engine, this model unleashes 862 horsepower. This has allowed him to leap over bridges and tear up city streets with finesse. Travis also mans the cockpit of the Airslayer STI, which uses an all-carbon body to provide an 800-lb. curb weight. Other drivers worth mentioning are Keaton Williams, Rhianon Gelsomino, and Brandon Semenuk, as they’re setting the standard for the Subaru brand and up-and-comers in the industry.
